Continued "Big News". Celebration/Party/Adios/Blow Out tickets will be on the website for sale by Saturday ... if not before. Ron jumped the gun before he actually had the link built. The house/warehouse is really close to finished and i am excited about it. But this afternoon, I am headed for Caddo Lake in far east Texas ... by the town of Uncertain, Texas. Lots of you are taking me up on the opportunity to seriously negotiate for those things you really want. Keep it coming; we are both winning on these. New Blog Post or two later today or tomorrow (after fishing), for sure.
Yes, folks ... BIG NEWS. The Texas Historical Commission has bought the store in Goodnight. We will be there through the end of July, 2024 ... and then on line or by phone. No; we are not "quitting" - HERD WEAR will continue. Be sure you are on our email list and also on Buffalo Wool Co's list.
Sometimes you just don't know ....

Sometimes you just don't know ....

Most all, me at the forefront, live our lives in semi-chaos; just a step or a moment away from running off screaming.  What we don't always know is how we are viewed by others.  Often, they don't express their impressessions until "the end" ... and whether we hear those or not is still a matter of debate.

So, when Lori Crofford with KGNC media (101.9 The Bull and other radio outlets in the Amarillo area) called about the Herd Wear Store closing (somehow she had gotten it from the real estate agent I am using); wanting a bit more info, I was happy to fill her in.  Little did I know what she was really thinking.

I sponsored a couple of there events; nothing big and Lori was always gracious about our small parts.

You might have to cut and paste the web address below ... but I was most gratified and a bit humbled by her thoughts.  Thanks, Lori, very much.  It is always a treat to know that your actions and efforts have a positive effect.
